XZ is not very portable, quite heavy but I love it much!! ❤

Really all depends on what your setting is . The new technology makes this more compact for lugging, and many features to make crazy mixes . I’ve played on all of them and I can easily say nothing beats the satisfaction of mixing pure vinyl, no aids, waveforms etc just pure clean analog mixing with ears. The hard setback these days is new music basically does not get released on vinyl which is a shame

End of the day comes down to the crowd and what you can give them

Standalones are becoming a bit of a standard for DJs who lug their own gear. XZ and RX Pioneers are everywhere. They’re also the closest thing to an 8k CDJ rig for those who do USB and ‘bring your own gear’ gigs.

so essentially can you use a "high end" controller to dj a club or venue??...the only advantage of cdj is u dont have to bring laptop but every dj still does when using both cdj and controller
