Makes it sound like the 2000nx2 has been around FOREVER. It really hasn't. Just now 5 years as of 2021, and it took a min for them to be standard at events/clubs. But I am pretty surprised how many people have dropped $$$ for the 3000s during a pandemic and with no proper events going on anywhere. It seems to be mostly established djs that had plenty of money already before we all lost gigs. Pioneer has reached Apple status when it comes to gear I guess...some people just have to have the newest thing. Meanwhile I'm still using original 2000's in the home studio. I will be able to afford nexus 2's in about 5-7 years :P

PS Its about time proper cpu/gpu's and other components are getting put in these things for how damn expensive they are. Two of them are worth the same price as my car

For the loading speed, the CDJ200nxs2 is a bad example, I don't know why but its slower than the old NXS, I have both the NXS and NXS2 and I normally prefer the NXS if I'm using pre-analyzed tracks just due to the loading speed. And somehow, This is even slower loading a song than mine NXS2...

For industry standard its taken this long to perfect the CDJ, how long did we suffer with small displays before the 2000's?

“The brand new MPU chip is of industrial standard. This is the first time this has been done with any player on the market.”

What does that even mean?

Does the touch cue work with the XDJ-XZ or only via the DJM-900 / V10?

And that's all I mean they could do that long time ago in the two 2000s and instead of that screen that looks really bad another improved

Did cd decks not load as fast as the 3000? I know my old denon sn5000 did anyway with stored que's ! I have not had decks for 8 years, I am looking to get a new set. If the 2000 nexus were so slow, why was they rated so much, Just proves market share does not mean they are the best just means more gullible people were conned into buying inferior equipment, I always knew denoon cdj players were superior to pioneer back when i brought mine, and considering Denon invented the 1st cdj decks, then this side by side compression just proves this to me, Denon are what you should be looking at still if you want real equipment aimed at professionals music magicians.

When you are talking about speed what are you referring too? It's a cd player! My cdj1000 will play any mp3 or wav instantly

The sad thing is that even the SC5000 for $800 (with 2 decks in one) is still superior in most ways, minus the slightly smaller screen and 24 vs 32bit audio which is irrelevant for 95% for all people anyway. Pioneer became lazy and greedy. $2400 for ONE player, wtf? I had been using Pioneer for years, CDJ400, 850, 900, 2000 and the DDJ-SX. Those times are over.

I think 🤔 they should stop making them bigger, cdj3000 should be the standard size more then that ill be too much.

Still way behind from the Denon SC5000 and SC6000. The jogwheel turning rough like that on previous generations of CDJs is a total joke. You'd think that paying over $2000 for a CDJ-2000nexus would get you a smooth platter, but no. Cus Pioneer DJ is Pioneer DJ and somehow we need to stick with Pioneer DJ because it is the "industry standard" in overpriced and underperforming DJ gear.
