I love your piggies! I am trying mine on some pea flakes and the guinea pig is reluctant to eat it. He is nearly 6 but and unfortunately his friend passed away now and we think he would really enjoy them. Any advice if we could try and get him to atleast try it? Big fan by the way!!

This was an interesting video. But maybe a little overwelming of how much the AI had to say..😅

I just want to say that I'm not really a fan of the piggies crawling through the hay. Because I've had some bad experiences last year..

So Bianca, one of my two guinea pigs got hay stuck in her eye, twice(!) in 3 days (sorry, a week)... The first time I was quick to remove it (a long grass-like piece), and the eye healed up nicely.
The second time she wasn't as lucky... This time it was a small needle-thin piece of hay, that I only spotted late the next morning... The hay piece had been in her eye probably for at least 8 hours..
The eye was visibly iritated and damaged (an abrasion to the cornea). I waited for her eye to heal on its own, but it didn't.
So afer two days I went to visit the vet. 4 times total in a 6 week span (€€€€). But her eye never fully healed.. She has now cataracts in her left eye as a result..

I honest to God hope you won't have to experience the same things as I did...
It looked extreamly painfull...😢
