I've lived for 21 years now, I've never felt happiness my whole life until recent. I found myself crying in tears of happiness as I learned more and more about Islam. I was depressed ever since in my teenage days, but it got a lot worser when I got out of the high school. I was jobless for years, barely have friends, no money, I was broke. I thought that if I get a job this sadness and emptiness would disappear. My mom never allow me to go spend times outside, she'll say that outside is too dangerous for you. Maybe there's a reason why Allah made my mom said things like that. Subhanallah, now I barely feel sad or depressed anymore. I don't feel empty like how I used to. Each remembrance of Allah S.W.T makes me feel more collected and happy. I feel so at ease everytime I pray or contemplate on the Quran, alhamdulillah. May Allah strengthens our iman so that we can fall in love with Islam each and every day, ameen.

Its almost a month now... I really feel depressed .. i cried alot.. i alwys feel empty n lonely... i'm not able to achieve anything in my life now.. sometimes i feel tht i lost all motivation and encourgement of achieving anything in my life.. i feel lost... Its getting harder day by day...

Here’s my confession brothers and sisters. For the past few months I was in a relationship with my girlfriend. And I had this emptiness within me. I felt lonely a lot, depressed too. I am no longer in this relationship, and at first even it’s termination gave me great grief.

But subhanallah I feel less lonely and more loved now when I embrace Allah, and read the Quran. It is always so peaceful when I read the Quran.

I also forgot, like a fool, that no matter what happens, my mother is always my queen. Always. The most beautiful woman in the whole world.

So please brothers and sisters find it in your hearts to forgive me. And by his mercy and love, I hope Allah will grant me forgiveness.
