Musician Zoom rehearsal test 2. trying to play together

So, now's the ideal time than to check out ZOOM conferencing to hangout & rehearse our band - 1st a quick test with the video…!

Fun to watch and have been there myself ... we gave up Zoom after one rehearsal and now use Jamulus, which works better and better every week - also very dynamic community developing around Jamulus

I own a logitec 'stero mic/ camera combo. that's what causes the 'phased ' sound of the violin. I purchased a separate mic and selected the new separate mic for audio in the preferances.

My band uses JamKazam with good results. No video though. When we used Zoom it was “I’d like to introduce our timeless rhythm section”

I feel like you could use the zoom'd violin sound as like, an imitation old audio 'wah wah, waaaah'

try out jacktrip. It's low latency and specifically for musicisians

that's ZOOM - audioquality is allways horrible :-( no idea why they can't solve that! even on a desktop computer, fastest ethernet, external mic, mixer plus audio-interface: no chance :-(

play to a metronome alone..then mix ... no way to jam with your setting

Give up zoom....use Jamulus !!! A bit of setting up but all good!!
