I had a Chinese female colleague years ago, who grew up in and around Shanghai. She talked about the crazy 14-15 hour, 6day work weeks modeling and selling cosmetic products. They truly use and abuse their workforce, but America isn't far behind. The real winners of this "rat race" are the corporations and the C-suite positions. Let's try using real math not "girl math." If a woman is 36, and still single, real math suggests that this 36 year's old (goal) of finding mister perfect for half her life has failed. How many people are so arrogant and naive enough to publicly state that they are smart, accomplished, and super attractive, but the reason they have failed to accomplish a goal miserably for 18 straight years in a row is not their fault. If her goal was to prove she can be overly demanding, and stubborn, she accomplished that; however, if her goal was to find mister perfect, she failed miserably.
