This is not a problem of just China.
This problem is in the whole world.

Not all women are fit to be a wife or a mother as not all men are fit to be a husband or a father.

My sister was desperate to get married so she did. Two kids and her husband? Disappointing as he just ignores the children and household expenses. What he earns he spends it on himself.

I am divorced and have no kids. I feel my decision not to remarry has been a good one simply because I refuse to be in a crap relationship.

Theres less women than men. So there are plenty of single men as well. No one is too concerned sbout men being single. So what's the issue with single women?

As man you shouldn't want a woman who doesn't want you.

The reason why families wants their daughter to marry, forcefully also is because Chinese people don't have pension and need someone to provide them at old age, so if your daughter don't marry and she's struggling alone, don't expect her to help you out too. That's the mentality.

If Asia countries would treat their women better in the job market and at home - women would marry. Who wants to give up their job and be treated like a slave at home for marriage. Plus you have in laws to deal with. NO NO

Before getting married, ask yourself this question: what are you prepared to sacrifice?

That is one way to starve the system. No marriage, no kids, end of the line.

Um, if young people can't get jobs, it will be even worse if they get married and have kids. And it won't get any better if companies don't want to hire anyone over 35 (ridiculous).

So basically people are just suffering from their life styles. As a widower for last 3 years, i understand the loneliness sucks. Dear youngsters whats the point of life if you cant enjoy the earnings. Try minimalism. Be content. social media is putting an idea that marriage and having kids is too much tough. When you love them its real fun.

Getting married means also being a part of the spouse’s family and many times it’s toxic

Not all men want/expect money from women. What most men want is a down to earth, cute, kind, loyal and honest woman that brings them peace.

I'm 44 F been single for 15 years now I do have 1 daughter who is now 24, she has no children but a prominent career. I live in New Zealand and it's just way too expensive to have kids here. We are now over the point of more older people than young and most of those young people don't wana look after the elderly unless their being paid $50 an hour and be lucky if they agree to that because they don't want to do personal care. Career and money are more important now because everything costs so much.
It's nice coming home after work everyday to peace and quite and not look after another person, clean your own mess, all my stuff has a home and doesn't get moved. It's a lot less stressful. If you can find solace in isolation it becomes quite spiritually enlightening.
