I've started studying French exactly one week ago, and now I'm very happy and proud of myself cause I could understand most of this video. Thank you for helping me on this challenging task. Merci beaucoup!

I must say I have really enjoyed your videos so far! Lots of detail and insights into colloquial expressions and language that you don’t receive from other sources, perfect for slowly bridging the gap between proficient and fluent. Keep it up!!

I just learned about this video series from Reddit today. They have all been spectacular! This video I had to check it was in the A1 playlist because I got so lost so fast. Still instructional, but I found myself needing to look up a ton of words instead of being able to figure it out with context. Will be interesting to see how it keeps up! Thanks for the videos, though, they are spectacular. :)

Absolutely brilliant!!! I'm watching your videos starting from A1 video 1. The format of this video where you call and have a conversation with someone was an excellent idea. Keep up the good work and great comprehensible content. Thanks.

Merci bon professeur!

00:22 " Mais ça va très bien et
toi?"
Why does he say "mais"?
Imo it looks like a weird syntax.
It doesn't change the meaning (much), does it?

Salut Lucas!

What does "Alors" mean? I noticed he says that sometimes before actually answering.
