For a weekend i just bring a 5 gal water bottle from home for consumption. Anything else will use the holding tank. Simple.

If we are talking about drinking water, the best NSF certified systems are point of use versus a system that puts back the purified water into the hoses and tanks of the RV.

We have an RO system in our home, love it. I have a triple filter, 0.5 microns permanently installed in my fifth wheel. I hear so much great talk about the Birky system but I haven’t seen the numbers that reveal it’s water quality (unlike other water filters). I have been contemplating an RO system, not sure how one would install it and use one, especially if boondocking. Are you or do you have info on an RO system in an RV?

What are your thoughts on different RV AC filters. Factory vs upgrading them - etc. Thanks in advance.

When using a whole RV RO system, is it still necessary to sanitize the freshwater tank if it's being used full time and never sitting?

RO uses quite a bit of water when treating the water you drink. Isn’t the additional quantity of water that is now possibly doubled an issue to consider with your grey tank?

Hi Do you have a link for checking what's in the water in your zipcode?

Aren't RO water filters too inefficient for RVers? When one gallon of water is made for drinking, three gallons go down the drain. This is due to having to flush the RO membrane.

don't RO systems use a LOT of water

Yeah RO takes out all the good minerals too which isn’t good for your body. For RO systems you then need to add back in a few good minerals. This is just too time consuming and wasteful. Better to use a good filter and softener combo.
