the creature designs are really on point. the part where the shark just turns on its headlights and the turtle hid in its transparent cookpot shell is awesome

I like how there's no backstory (left to our imaginations)...and no ending except for the implied continuation of the food chain. Animation is INCREDIBLE! And you're able to make the viewer feel sympathetic in such a short time for both the fish and the turtle.

Nature will eventually balance itself no matter how hard we kick it. The question is, whether this new point of balance will have a place for us.

This is such a cool concept! I especially love how organic the sunkin ship looks, despite being purely mechanical.

All the hybrids so far:
Fish = Oil tank
Shark = Car
Crabs = Bottle Caps
Sea Turtle = Griller
Plankton = Lightbulbs?
Giant Squid = Plane
Vulture = Steel and a tire

Nice animation btw😊

I love that there is no explanation for the existence of these clockwork sea creatures. Its so seamlessly integrated into the story that it allows your own imagination to conceptualize a backstory. Breathtaking CG.

Damn this could easily be mistaken as a Love, Death, and Robots Episode. Great job!

I was getting “humans ruined the world with trash, and this is how the natural world adapted” vibes. Kinda cool. If when the turtle breached the waters surface it revealed the world to be in ruin with nothing but junk left behind by us that would have been powerful.

This was amazing I really wanted to see more of this dystopian world. It was creative to incorporate hybrids the way y’all did. I thought this was going to be a film about two animal species creating a Hybrid but this imaginative of animal evolution was outstanding 👏🏼👍🏼

The opening scene is so gentle, as it slowly brings the viewer into this new reality. The transitions between different 'animals' is so natural, as if I was watching a nature documentary. This was a pleasure to watch, thank you!

This is one of the best kinds of short films. The kind where I hate that it ends because I want to see more of this world that you guys have created.

I could watch a whole movie just about this. Absolutely astounding!

Stunning! Even the sound effects are so good that you don't even notice there are any

I remember when this was still being conceptualized and produced~

Its such a beautiful thing to see it all come together!

The idea of metal scrap being part of an animal's body is one of the most unsettling yet original ideas for a movie with an outstanding box office. We absolutely need an apocalyptic movie set in this world!!

There's always a bigger fish, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a bigger cephalopod

For a second i thought the giant boat was gonna be a fish and just reveal itself as a massive whale

Speaking as a diver and spear fisher of 20+ years - these marine life based animations are awesome.

I remember the days when this was marked as a "YouTube Kids" video.
