The 8 Predator Subspecies And Hybrids Explained

The Predator is the titular extraterrestrial species featured in the Predator science fiction franchise, characterized by its trophy hunting of other species for sport. There are atleast 8 different subspecies and hybrids of Yautja/Predator that we know of by far. So, in this video, we briefly explain to you about each of them.

The feral predator seemed the most like a basketball player. Slightly Leaner than other predators but still strong and on the taller side.

The Feral Predator is not 6'6". The actor in the suit, Dane Diliegro, is 6'9". The suit, especially the head piece, probably adds a few inches in height so the Feral Predator is at least 7 feet tall.

Would love to have a movie about their homeworld, showing us their civilization hierarchy etc... would be interesting seeing where they come from. Maybe follow a group around as they go from their homeworld to other planets for hunting.

I wouldn't call them a subspecies, more like us in the way we have different races but are all from the same species. Resulting from living in different climates / biomes etc. Definitely need a predator film based on the yautja homeworld, maybe some in-fighting, some kind of civil war would be cool. See a bit more of the planet and what makes em look slightly different.

I remember finding a toy of a Predator as a kid. I took the mask off and it scared the crap out of me. The Predator was the only sci-fi creature to honestly scare me as a kid.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive view of the predators. The only thing I might argue with your viewpoints though are the height estimates. Most of the predators are at least a foot taller than the measurements given in the video, but other than that I applaud your comprehensive look at the predators!

It was a classic David vs goliath tale "prey" was but it shows that humans are smart and they respect us for it just remember her brother was the one who weakened the hunter with it's own weapon she learned from that and used a similarly deceptive tactic never underestimate your prey suspect everyone as being a danger is the lesson

Feral Pred is definitely a scout sent to check out a planet for things to hunt. He didn't have a plasma canon, couldn't change his vision when the ash came or the flower blood trick. I feel like the Pred who fought Arnold or D Glover definitely wouldn't of lost, but it's cool to know there are different types.

The feral predator is not 6 foot 6.. where did you get that from? Even if it was never stated officially you can tell he is about 7 feet tall due to his fight with the grizzly which on hind legs grizzlies can reach 8 to 10 feet tall

I see the feral more agile and has more stamina then the jungle predator and super but the ultimate predator is the strongest by far

The Feral Predator didn't look 6"6, he looked HUGE! at least 7 foot or over! he looked so much bigger than the usual Hunter Predator
