Thank you Emily, I just starting to do some art work after many years .. This was so clear & helpful. Using cheap pencils right now to practice but am planning on getting some higher quality ones soon, I think they have more pigment. Looking forward to more tutorials.

Derwent inktense pencils are an ink based pencil that react with water. They are very rich in colour and work well with watercolour pencils for intensity of colour.
