This is it. The track that began my journey to where I am today. Seriously if it wasn't for this track not releasing fully I likely wouldn't be archiving music today. Or even be the same person I am today.

When I first loaded up D2 back in 2018 after I found it on the ps4, I didn't think much of it yet. I was very confused about everything, the lore, the worlds, and then I heard this tune. It snapped something in me, I started paying more attention to everything and got hooked to the game. Fast forward a year later to end 2019, my two darkest years had started. School was burning me out, I had gotten into a deep depression, ate barely anything and nobody knew of it. It felt like my body was crumbling day by day, the only thing that kept me alive those years was the music of D2. If not for you Breshi, and Promethean, I probably wouldn't be here today. So thank you, for everything.

Cant believe the people that made this song got layed off. It was a early morning on september 6th 2017 before school, and this song came on. Its what made me really start to be like okay this is bad. We lost our light and everyone is in danger. Thank you Skye Lewin and Michael Salvatori for making this great piece.

I know that d2 at launch wasn't the best game every made, but this track really reinforced the feeling of powerlessness and solemn atmosphere of the Last city being taken. Ghaul was an underused villain IMO, such a threat that leaves such an impact where Guardians look at the Last city, and know they cant take it back even if they tried, where they would die a final death in vain. people complain nowadays about Destiny, but Its always good to remember the amazing things Bungie has created, such a beautiful world where you feel that way even though its just a game. Eyes up Guardian.
