I love how this song is played when you're weak and fleeing from the place you've called home, but then when you inevitably return, stronger and with great appreciation for your abilities, it returns. Something about clearing the streets of The Last City, destroying all who threaten the light with this song in the background is amazing to me.

Dude as a hardcore fan of destiny 1 and 2 the opening got to me and what made it even worse is it was so sad at the start and this song made the moment made it even worse ( sad wise ) because I was let in to the beta in destiny 1 and and played all 3 years so this song will mark a moment in history for me and the rest of my life. But rember Guardian if you die I cant resurrect you, we can't become one with the dead, guardian we need to live through this and fight for all these decest guardian's who fell to the hands of the red legion. A fantastic standout track that stuck in my mind the instant I heard it and really sold the atmosphere of wandering through the wilderness, completely vulnerable.

Destiny 2 has a soul to it that Destiny 1 didn't. You could just feel the soulless corporate decisions that contributed to the gutted game world and story that was Destiny. Destiny 2 doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it's finally a solid base story, mechanics, and world to accompany the fantastic gunplay that Destiny always had. A successful reboot in other words. I just hope we see some more ambitious moves with the expansions.
