These fitness apps are low key scammers. This legit happened to me recently.

when you get the monthly subscribe it says “minimum 12 months”. You basically signed a contract loan without reading t&c, not a scam, idiocy.

I don't think it's a scam. I saw this when I signed up. By signing the contract, you are committing to a full year. Whether you pay a lump sum or monthly is your choice. You guys should take some time to understand what you're signing before you do. Common sense.

Another clickbait video. This is just from 1 person who probably couldn't keep it with the analytics. I know of countless of people who swear by Whoop and literally improved their quality of life.

Canceled my mothers membership with no issue. It did have to be done outside the app, but it worked fine.

They do make it a bit onerous to cancel. It’s not impossible, but they do throw in some
Extra clicks and what not as a barrier to making it easy.

Honestly, dont want to be negative because its good for the publics awareness for sure. But this is very common with subscription services. I have whoop and this is clearly outlined when signing up

Just make sure theres no money in your account when it tries to deduct it, after 2 failed attempts they "cancelled " my subscription

I believe Europe and the US for sure has consumer protections that require companies to make it easy to cancel. With the current backlash, could file a complaint with the FTC
