In this episode of Revolution Health Radio (RHR) we discuss “How to Put the 80/20 Rule Into Practice” I talked about this in my book and I’ve been an advocate of this for a long time in terms of diet. I think other things affect how we even process the food that we eat, like stress levels and our sense of pleasure, joy, fun, social belonging, and connections with other people. So if sticking to a diet 100% of the time means that you’re completely socially isolated, you don’t go out with your friends anymore, you can’t travel, you just basically stay at home and cook all of your meals all the time, then we have to ask the question: Is the benefit that you get from making that choice really worth what you’re giving up in that situation?
