5. Micro Welding Fails - Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them - Free Permanent Jewelry Training
Показать описание
In this video, I show the most common mistakes and fails preventing users of the Orion Micro Welder mPulse from being able to weld jump rings closed and wires to attach - securely and easily. Being able to weld a jump ring shut is essential to make permanent bracelets; it is actually easy once you know the pitfalls and get the hang of it.
Full Disclosure: My company wholesales premium jewellery components (all 925 silver chains are made in Italy and gold filled chains are American). We supply many stores that weld permanent bracelets and body jewelry.
Note on Micro Welder I have used in this video:
Orion Micro Welder mPulse 30 is made by Sunstone Engineering, in the USA. Stones And Findings is a premier licensed distributor for Orion Micro Welders.
FREE SHIPPING in USA and Canada ✈️
🌎 If you are located elsewhere, you can email me and I'll find the licensed reseller in your country.
Most Common Micro Welding Mistakes:
1. Jump ring sides are not touching - there's no connection for the electrical current to flow.
2. Poorly cut jump ring - the edges are not flush. Although they touch, the surface is small because one or more of the wires is pointed.
3. The electrode is touching metal on the SIDE and not at the point.
4. The jump ring or wire is too thick, and the power is not strong enough, and you are not spot welding all around it to ensure that it is secure.
5. Too much power is being used and the jump ring or wire is melted, warped and clumping.
6. Withdrawing the electrode from contact before the firing is complete.
