Bafang BBSHD mid-motor eBike upgrade 52V hits 40mph!!!

A short video of the BBSHD mid-drive upgrade using Mr. HV's upgrade kit with ASI BAC855. My custom 72V is not here yet so testing with a 52V/8Ah battery. It reached 2600W at 40mph top speed. BUT, the torque is absolutely insane 🙀🙀🙀 72V will reach up to 4000W!!!

Kits like this inspired me to come up with a large lithium battery and a custom designed 5kw kit that I offer on ebay. Current top speed so far is 61mph. :)

Can you run the BBSHD 52V 1000W with a 72V 35AH 60Amp BMS battery ?

How much gear shifting do you do ? Do you stay in lowest gear for motor health like some recommand (mr HV) and you shift up to your biggest gear all the time ? I run a 72v 4000W BBSHD with a Bac ASI 855 controller, i feel like i should do more than 30 mp/h

I don't think that 40 mph you're talking kmh, that looked super slow and cars were going alot faster

You need to get 72V battery and yll be flying

I think bbs kits are limited to 60V which makes a "52v battery" the absolute max since those are about 60v charged. Be careful not to ruin your kit, as you've already ruined the warranty with 52v instead of 48!
