It's not so gross when you think about the whole "adopted son" thing isn't the normal 21st century adoption process, but more like "adoption" the way Roman emperors would "adopt" guys as their "son" for succession reasons. So it's less "ew she took her son as her lover!" and more that she became lovers with the guy that her husband had chosen as his heir.

When this first came out I asked one of my Chinese friends to translate the name.
They utterly butcher her name in this video.
Cheng I Sao would be pronounced like "Chin I saa"

Obviously IDK it's not my job but I think you're wrong about not watching the "lies" episodes.
Almost no reactors do it, for the reason you mention because those have fewer views...

But because of that, those viewers are the MAJOR FANS, and nobody reacts to the videos where we get to really nerd out about the details of the story that didn't make it to the video.

That's fertile ground to be "the history-savvy reactor who cares about the research"
