Peggy: You’re late!
Steve: I had to return the stones.

That Colonel is the definition of a good officer. He knew when he was wrong, and was willing to let it go.

I find it interesting that Steve is so good natured and loyal almost to a fault that he was willing to receive any disciplinary action against him because he still went against his orders. It’s just one of the most consistent things in the mcu and it’s cool how he’s tested over and over again yet remains a genuinely good guy, who’s even worthy to wield mjolnir.

Who would’ve thought that Bucky and Steve would be fighting against aliens and an intergalactic sociopath 70+ years later huh

That look Peggy gives Cap at the end. It's the "I'm having your babies" look.

Everything you need to know about Steve Rogers is said in this scene. First, he asks for the injured to be treated and then he surrenders himself for disciplinary action. Love Cap!

This is the same guy who introduced himself to a tree.

Kudos to Bucky, it's not easy to see your friend go from a pale skinny guy to a muscular hero and still happily cheer for him and be willing to stay in his shadow. A lot of people would be jealous and bitter.

2:39 Cap looks at Bucky as if to say "Seriously?", Bucky shrugs like "Why not? It's got a nice ring to it"

If it was tony stark returning with soldiers from hydra base, there would have been an AC/DC song playing in the background on 400% volume.

I like how Steve's first priority was securing medical attention for the people he rescued, and then accepted that he technically went AWOL and was willing to take the punishment for it. THIS is the Captain America that we were introduced to in the Comics.

My late mother, she was never a superhero fan, but she loved Captain America film so much. She said it reminds her of heroic, classic World War II films she watched a lot when she was young.

Hands down my favorite MCU movie. Well-written, great lead actor, amazing love interest story, and it subtly, yet decisively, makes nods to the later movies. 10/10.

I don’t know why but I always liked that he still surrendered himself for disciplinary action. It doesn’t matter how many people he saved, he still went against orders and he’s ready to face the consequences. He doesn’t see himself above any other soldier and what’s to be treated to the same standard. That’s a good man.

“The serum never corrupted Steve” “has there ever been another Steve Rogers?”
