The clamps are too large for the pipe. The nuts are bottomed out to the threads and the lower brace.

Exhaust system is supposed to be able to be moved or wiggled, but if the pipes themself can rotate thats a problem, if they dont rotate get soapy water, and spray it on while the car is on. If bubbles appear its a bad seal and jts causing an exhaust leak

Those clamps are placed wrong, you can see the first one actually bent the outer sleeve. Meaning its not placed over a joining section of the two pipes. Its likely placed over the space between the pipes and only pressing against one. Also you can see that the clamps themselves are the wrong size.

Came across this looking up clamps. I've never done an exhaust but just based on other videos none of that seems like a tight fit to begin with. It looks like the lap joints aren't snug and/or clamps are too big. Almost like they didn't research inner vs outer diameter joints, just stepped down/up a size (e.g. 2.25 to 2 5) and tried to compensate with filler (e.g. copper rtv, jb weld, etc.)

As a diy'er I know everyone can't afford the right pieces, welder, or shop weld which might explain this. I personally bought clamps (band clamps not u clamps like these) because I want to hear it before hand. If no leaks distort noise initially, no performance lost, and I like the sound I would definitely consider a welder.

But. It just seems it needs a support bracket.

The pipe should fit snug or tight. If it's loose before clamping use a pipe spreader. Then use exhaust sealant paste. The clamp by edge of pipe should be closer to the lip.

Smh and my damn roush came with clamps and theres leaks in between the little slits where it connects to the rest of exhaust like a 2 millimeter round

That’s not a muffler, it’s a catalytic converter.
And that’s what happens when exhaust clamps get over tightened and you over expand the female receiving end.
However welding will fix this.
