Even though Americans continue to be obsessed with SUV's, the #HondaCivic remains one of the most popular small cars on the market. For 2025, #Honda has given the latest #Civic a minor refresh along with the return of the #CivicHybrid after a decade long hiatus. The #HondaCivicHybrid looks to create the all-around best version of the #Civic with the first-time the #Hybrid being offered on the practical #CivicHatchback.

I have this car and I love it. The features that would make it a perfect car that are currently missing: 360 camera, power folding side mirrors, auto tilt side mirrors on reverse, lockable glove box, LED taillights, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel.

Fun fact: The Civic Hybrid (both sedan and hatchback) has been named North American Car of the year 2025!!

been driving a honda civic sport 2020 for 4.5 years now. No issues, smooth, great daily driver. No complaints.

Really don't understand what is Honda's problem to give heated steering at that price while they are giving heated seats. Also, they are not giving Hondalink remote access for lower trims. Lot of missing features in Hondas now a days but price is increased like hell.

Picked up my Civic Hybrid Sport Touring Hatch in early December. Two areas of improvement for me would be adjustable lumbar support and led rear turn/back up lights. MPG for me so far in mixed driving is about 44 MPG. Otherwise, a fantastic looking car (I opted for Urban Grey Pearl) with top-notch quality and fit/finish. Great job, Honda.

I have had a Civic hybrid for just over a year here in the UK I have noticed in colder weather it has quite an effect on consumption in the summer I was averaging around 56mpg but over the last month or so that has dropped to around 45mpg so quite a difference. it is the performance that has impressed me the most as I was not expecting it to feel so fast.

I have a 2025 Civic Sport Hybrid Sedan. Love the car, it's an absolute joy to drive. I went with the Sport trim rather than the Sport Touring for a number of reasons. I'm not interested in some of the extra tech on the Touring --- the Sport trim has all the tech I need (in some ways, relying too much on tech diminishes the driving experience in a sports car). I like the black interior and wheels on the Sport as opposed to grey and silver interior and wheels on the Touring. I seldom, if ever, have any back seat passengers, so I don't care what features there may or may not be in the back seats. The power seat adjustment in the Touring is a useless feature for me; I adjust the seat once when I get a new vehicle and then don't touch it again for years.

Here in Canada, we do get a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. My only disappointment with the car so far is that after about a 1, 000 miles, mostly in econ mode, I'm only getting around 36 mpg. Presumably the efficiency will improve when the weather warms up and I get summer tires on the vehicle.

Heated steering wheel and heated rear outboard seats are standard on the higher trims in Canada, where Honda tends to include more standard features.

One note: I do believe the break in period affects MPG a bit. During the break in period for my 2024 accord touring i only averaged about 36 MPG. Now, I average about 41 with a heavy foot.

I bought a 25 sport hybrid hatch and love it, I didnt want the extra tech of the touring. Traded a 24 accord in for it, that car was full of bugs and had 2 recalls.

Can we all agree that piano black needs to go away completely? Great little car. I do wish they would bring back a wagon in both the Civic and Accord. Why not?

The civic is the best driving car in its segment.

Thanks, that was a very informative video. I bought one last Thursday. I do mostly highway miles and I’m only getting around 40MPG. Part of it could be I have a lead foot🦶😂

Great looking car! I loved my 2016 civic and this looks 10x better!, but I bought a Ranger Raptor and am not looking when I visit the gas station :) Can't wait to see the prelude in real life.

Would love to see an awd option one day. Solid commuter for sure nonetheless.

I completely agree with your comments about the lack of premium features. All of the car reviewers are saying the same thing - Honda, you need to look at the competition and realize that consumers want more premium features in compact cars. It seems like Honda expects people will pay extra for Honda’s reputation as a very reliable, fuel efficient car. Honda can/should still offer a couple of entry level trim lines, but the higher trims should offer a more robust selection of premium options. IMO, this would not threaten the Accord. The Accord has become a large (not mid size) family sedan and it’s simply not going to appeal to many of the folks that are looking for a smaller automobile.
