0-60 2025 Honda Civic Sport

I timed the 0-60 to be 9.62 Seconds and 9.33 for the second clip. This is slower than last years civic because the power output went from 158hp to 150hp. What’s up with that Honda?

I could be totally wrong, purely subjective from how I felt driving a Honda cvt. But I found the CVT seems to perform worse at anything over 4000-4500rpm, everything over that is just wasted. I feel the most zippiness between like 2500-3300rpm. Looking at the video, the time from 0-30 when revving to around 4500rpm, and the remaining 30-60 when over the 4500rpm point, there is a very similar 4 second ish time frame for both windows. So would seem if anything that even if not zippier in the lower range, there does seem to be no additional power return in the higher revs.

I got 9.6 seconds to 60 mph in the first clip. In the second clip I got 9 seconds to 60 mph. 30-70mph was 8.4 seconds. It will get you up to highway speeds. This is just as fast as a Honda Accord from 30 years ago, which was the best selling car. This is a nice, basic family sedan; nothing luxurious or sporty.

For people who hate this, this is called as Honda says, "Econ Mode" and no the Sport mode is unfortunately just for a display (am joking it's not for display).

Even the cheaper Mazda3 makes this car eat dirt at 191hp and with almost the same fuel economy. First the Accord now this... Honda still thinks its 2001.

Yeah...i know this is 'fake shifting' but it sounds nice. I suppose this is the price when I first stsrted driving on a MT. That sounds reassures me the engine is just fine.

They detunted this beautiful engine to only 150hp and even with this you will be at the gas station every 3 days. That ecu neds to be ripped out a jailbroken right aaay
