In this episode I am going to explore how to check if a Diamond X50 that has been stored outside through the winter is still usable. Please do comment if I don't use the NanoVNA correctly, or draw the wrong conclusions. I am not an expert, just an amateur radio operator. There is also some bonus content if you stay until the end.

Oh, and I have released the LB0FI Portable Dipole Kit for sale. Please see my Etsy Store if you would like to purchase your own kit. There are also a couple of videos out demonstrating the build and the usage of the antenna.

Get your NanoVNA here:
Please note that I am an Amazon Affiliate and I get a small kickback from purchases made through these links. You pay the same amount, but you help support my channel.

Please don't forget to subscribe to my channel if you like any of my videos.

I missed out on your live giveaway the other day. I like the small design of your kits.👍

I need to get the NanoVNA. I want to experiment with home made antennas but wouldnt mind a Diamond or two also. :)

BTW...that SWR dip at 200mHz is perfect for the 1.25m band here in the US, which is around 222mHz. So, that makes your antenna a three-bander around here.
