I love that you ended by saying that with patients there are no icks. Thank you so much for saying that. I was with both of my parents as they died. I saw and heard difficult things associated with death. They are not icky. They were my dying mommy and daddy❤️

This has to be one of the most underrated nursing channels. It shows when someone chooses nursing for the right reasons.

I love this! I just had a baby and saw the video of the maternity nurses talking smack about patients and i felt so awful from it. I was guilty of asking for water.

When it's my time, if I need a hospice nurse, I hope I'm blessed to get someone like you, with your compassion and sense of humour, you're def the best 💛

She’s the sweetest! Any patient to have this loving, outgoing, kind woman as their nurse are extremely lucky 💜

even dying...i couldn't. 🙁 i have a level of unprecedented respect for people who work with the human body. it's not that I'm not smart enough to be in the field, but no matter how hard I've tried, i personally cannot get over the smells and sights of other people's bodily fluids and internals. even of the ones i love. and it hurts that i have to turn away and hand that part to another person, but that is why I put caregivers (medical or not) on a pedestal. God gave y'all gifts i do not possess and i am thankful for the people who he gave them to. ❤️

YES, girl! Thank you for making this gently but firmly clear! If you can't hack the job, PLEASE choose a different field or career and give patients and their families the dignity and respect they deserve throughout the dying process. Same goes for family of the dying patient! Leave your family arguments at the door and any comments about sounds Or smells too! Or at the VERY LEAST, excuse yourself politely BEFORE you make that "gross smell" sound or face or making ANY rude comment! And NO FIGHTING! Everyone deserves a peaceful environment during this scary process. We're all human and we're all going to die- do what you would want from those caring from you during your dying process.

I was a hospice nurse for a couple years but it was not my calling. It was a blessing to experience but I'm very thankful there are folks who know that they were meant to do this service.

I LOVE and APPRECIATE your videos. I’m not a hospice nurse but I’ve been at the bedside of about 5 people in the process of dying. Things you mention I have witnessed. I even kept a picture and video diary of my aunt who was the last person I cared for until death. These experiences are life changing and really make me take stock of my life.

THANK YOU, it bothers me so much when health care professionals do stuff like complain about things outside of a patient's control.

You’re a mix of everything. Humour, intelligence, BEAUTY, kindness. I don’t know which one is your best quality cause you seem to have them all honestly. Love you ❤️

Thank you for your posts. They're helpful even if they are about the hospice nurses themselves. 🌹

You're definitely the right kind of person to be working in hospice seeing how you're such a kind and caring person.

Thanks for what you do
