When I was a hospice aide, I was taking care of a baby. AIDS was very prevalent still and sadly he had it. He was bounded to me and often was seen looking around when he heard my voice. The day he died I was holding him when he woke up smiled at me reached up and touched my face then passed. That was the last day I worked in hospice.

Penny, my daughter died 4/29/22. She was 38 years old. Your videos are helping me grieve and almost always make me cry. She reached out at the end. I don’t believe we go alone.

Absolutely heartbreaking but the sad reality for many, we just lost a nephew aged 15 to muscular dystrophy but because they are in Pakistan no access to equipment or hospice. It was heartbreaking but a reminder of why death with dignity and hospice is so crucial

I was near death several times throughout my 33 year lifespan. Sepsis, kidney failure, and a brain tumor that affected my quality of life tremendously. Since receiving my transplant, I’ve got a new lease on life and nothing but time as my daughter will be off to college soon. You inspired me to give back in a way I never thought I would be able to because of the trauma I’ve experienced from my health journey. Thank you for inspiring me.

It's just so utterly heartbreaking that any child would have to be in hospice....I'm glad they have wonderful nurses like you Penny in their last days of life. ❤️

Trlerminal diseases in children are just so heartbreaking and cruel, no little one deserves that burden and no parents deserve to watch their baby in pain. If I could rid the world of one thing it would be the suffering of children 💔

I've never seen anyone pass without someone else. Even them that can't talk anymore, they reach, they see someone. It's usually up.

i found your channel recently and you’ve helped me deal with losing my grandma so much. she had cancer, and while she wasn’t in hospice she was in palliative care. i’m just 12, and she was 69 when she passed, on the most recent 7th of december. she was a major factor of my world but your videos have helped me realise i’m not alone, and helped me fully accept that she’s not coming back. thankyou so much

My husband died shortly, his Bullterriergirl laid next to him on this Side, until he passed. And I know, our oldest dog, who passed away this Summer, waited for him on the other Side. 💞

Bless you for working with dying children. I always avoided working with children in any healthcare setting.

When I was five, my four year old brother had chicken pox, when he suddenly died of Reye’s Syndrome. He was in hospital 48 hours and then was gone. I really hope he had company like that in the end.

I don't know about when my sister died, I was only 4 and it was so quickly. But I know she came for my grandma along with grandpa .
