Cool post. Keep at it! Fun solo. I sampled this instrumental and added some DJ scratches with a cross fader to remix the track. This track is actually a simple progression. Like how it starts and finishes with the intro riff.

A long time ago when I was trying to mimic the guitar scratch sound with the pickup switch. The neck position pickup wouldn't work anymore from the flicking the switch to much
It started working again after a while and sometimes dosent work.

Great stuff man. I loved that live show video when you played with them. I do covers of Rage / Audioslave but on a cigar box guitar so I don't have any kill switching or anything like that but it's great to see how it's done.

Hi Mike, like I said last week, what a dream come true to play with Mr. Morello! I am almost 50 years old and bought a guitar for the first time in 30+ years. I started learning with RATM songs from the get go. I sound terrible, like a kindergartner but working on it. It doesn’t help that I had an accident years ago and lost the feeling in 3 fingers and my thumb on my left hand but, again, I am working on it. When I get decent enough, I will send you a clip if that’s ok with you. What kind of delay pedal do you use or what can I get that is close enough? Thank you again brother. You are amazing. 🙂

I’m guessing Morello plays this and most other songs in the neck position too?
