No joke, I was stunned to see your face in a video after having been off youtube for a while. You look like you're in your 30's and it's unbelievable. Thank you for all this advice, I truly see the work is paying off

Ive been taking pages from the Bryan Johnson and Blue Zone books, incorporating into my daily routine...and Alastin skincare. I turned 65 yesterday and feel great...one tip I might offer on sleep is to go to bed earlier...my sleep has much improved by being in bed by 9 and getting up at 530.

I have been adjusting my routine since entering my 50s and there have been several products I was researching where your discussion, trials, and interviews were so helpful. Thank you Clare! (Note: HRT was huge in helping my sleep)

After following every new hope in jar trend I decided to stick only with the tried and true basics with strong science behind it. AM - vitamin C, alpha hydroxy acids, and sunscreen; PM - tretinoin .05% (just enough for me but not too strong) and lately castor oil as my moisturizer. So far so good!!

I think this is a solid plan! The only thing I'd add is circadian hygiene. I really like Dr. Satchin Panda's books on the subject.

I am also 51 and have similar face shape and skin like yours. My weak spot are my eyebrows which are always a total mess, one is think the other is too wide and they grow all down to my eyes, and my eyesight is too bad to pluck them correctly. I use retinol, vitamin C serum, peptide cream and sometimes snail mucin essence. I think I need higher SPF, maybe 50. I am poor so I have to manage with drugstore care, and I mostly chose vegan and cruelty free products.

For me personally, learning about and incorporating circadian biology practices has been very helpful for my physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Neurosurgeon Dr Jack Kruse is the person who has really spoken out the most about this subject in the last ten years or so.

I use clean products where possible. I’m not a fan of too many chemicals - either in the food I choose to eat or the products I put on my biggest organ, my skin. I use Kora organics and Jurlique but am looking for a clean all round serum similar to the Estée Lauder advanced night repair. I’m nearly 67 and more concerned with looking fresh rather than unlined.

Really interesting. I’m 45 and yes, my philosophy is similar to yours. Sometimes, I am more successful than others but try to be more or less consistent over the course of a week.

what about adipeau? did you cancel using it, and did it, in hindsight, actually add fat to ur face and if so, did it stay after stopping adipeau?
very interesting video, greetings from germany

Happy birthday Claire! You are looking amazing so you're definitely doing a lot right. I only started worrying about skincare about a year ago when I turned 53 and noticed my skin ageing rapidly and I stopped recognising myself in the mirror. I became a bit obsessed and threw everything at my skin and some things definitely helped but I started to suffer with regular bouts of inflammation but because I was using about 10 different products I had no clue what was causing it. So I stopped using everything and stopped using any soap or drying products and just used cleansing balm at night, cocoa butter and sunscreen in the morning. As my skin recovered I could properly tell that my skin did look younger and healthier so some of the products had been having a good effect so that when I reintroduced things slowly and pared back my routine. The soap stayed out so no more double cleansing. Just a balm and a good cloth. So now at night I use liquid peptides from Medik8, the maysama roobois serum, red light mask a few nights a week, my tretanoin, and a good basic ceramide moisturiser from dermatica. I apply an oil blend I made myself which contains rosehip, caster and vitamin E oil to seal it all in. My skin doesn't look dry in the morning anymore. In the morning I apply the liquid peptides again, vitamin c, moisturiser and sunscreen. I have recently added a ginseng toner but it's too early to tell if it's doing any good. I also use collagen supplements and have noticed my body skin seems a lot healthier. I have tried cutting back on sugar but I love my evening bar of chocolate and the odd cake and treat. Basically I have very little will power. Same with exercise. I walk my dogs so that's good but I don't do any cardiovascular exercise. I was diagnosed with adhd last September after a GP referral and am now taking medication and I've lost a stone and a half in weight because I finally can control my recurring impulse binge eating which is great because I have been trying to lose thar extra weight for years with the opposite of success because it kept creeping up. Also I don't drink or smoke so that's good. I do feel I'm doing and looking quite good for almost 54 but I don't think I'll ever be a beacon of inspiration on how to live or eat well in the way you are but I do enjoy your channel and it has given me lots of food for thought since I started my skincare interest. So thank you Claire. ❤❤❤

My mum didn't have wrinckles until her late 50s when she went into menaupause. She didn't use anything on her skin, no mosturiser or spf and she worshipped the sun. Her mum had amazing skin too. I damaged my skin because of fillers and hyaluronidase. I wish I didn't do anything

I’ve only ever rinsed my face in the morning, no cleanser. Vit c and an spf moisturiser works for me.

Thank you for all you do! I think this was the best, most comprehensive & teachable podcasts youve done thus far, that ive watched. Just my opinion, but I think the clips of you washing your face, with no makeup, looks so much younger & vibrant than your skin with makeup. Just an outsiders opinion. The last video I saw, yesterday, "How red light therapy affects your microbiom" I remember being in amazement on how youthful and transformed your skin is from previous videos!!
