One of the things I love about Bridge is the CMD-L key. This is a full-screen view of the image. If you don’t do anything, it’s just a slide show. But the real power is you can left/right arrow to advance back and forth, use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out to 100% or more, hit the 1-5 keys to apply stars and 6-9 to apply color labels and verify quickly run through a folder of images, check for critical detail, mark it as a keeper, and when you’re done and return from slide show mode, you then can filter on just your 5 star images or your red labels to work on.

Have ignored Bridge for years as it didn't have enough bells and whistles. Now, I see from your video, it has a lot more and interfaces well with LR and PS. Thank you for this type of video as workflow is really important and other people's ideas often enable very worthwhile changes. More videos about Bridge will be very welcome.

I have been using Bridge for months now and completely agree. An added feature is that if you want to use Lightroom CC (not Lightroom Classic) you can easily invoke that as well. I find this helpful if I want to start editing on my computer but for some reason need to edit on a tablet o\r phone later. Bridge really was key in helping me move on from Lightroom Classic, and sped up my workflow dramatically.

Anthony, I love your channel and your enthusiasm. I use Bridge to add all my essential IPTC and XMP metadata to my files, plus all my basic presets for different lenses, edit all the images via ACR and only then import all the edited Raw files into Lightroom for exporting using a range of presets. It’s brilliant at this and, in my view, much easier to edit in ACR rather than Lightroom. Keep up the good work!

Very timely. I'm in the middle of re-assessing my workflow for multiple reasons. My knowledge of Bridge was limited to it about 8 years ago when I didn't adopt it as I favoured LR, but with what you've shown, it's time to rethink. So I look forward to your ongoing Bridge series and if it's the same quality as the Topaz series, I'm sure it'll be very beneficial.

Damn! 1-hour ago I uninstalled Bridge because I needed disk space for an update and I never used Bridge. Then your video pops up and I am now re-installing Bridge. And yes, LR is slow and arthritic on my inadequate PC so looking forward to your Bridge videos. Great job.

Thanks so much! I have been curious about Bridge, but hadn’t been able to find much about it. I love that you don't have to import using Bridge.

Thank you so much for this video, I have always had issues with LR library module and file location / retrieval etc. I now see that using Bridge I will be able to work directly from my own filing system.Great, thank you.

Thanks Anthony. Awesome video. I’m sure I’m not alone in learning to run before learning to walk with Adobe. This was a big help

Anthony, thank you very much for this video. I have spent much time mastering Lightroom and only played with Bridge once when I first subscribed to Creative Cloud. Now I see how this could fit into my workflow and I will experiment with it. I have a huge book project that is half done, all in Lightroom, so it will remain there But for other little projects I can see that Bridge might save me time when there are only a few images to work with. Sometimes I will take half a dozen shots to experiment with a specific feature and there is no pressing need to import them into Lightroom. Once again, a great video.

Thanks for covering this topic Anthony! I'm one of the described Ps only types (well mostly, I do use Lr for timelapse editing)

As someone who constantly renames and moves files within my own file tree, and HATES technology entantglement, this may work well for me...thanks for the overview!

Yep, I gave up on Lightroom years ago and, yes, I was a wedding photographer back then.
Now I use Bridge and Photoshop. Works just fine.

Brill vid and timing, Anthony. Just dumped LRC, forgot how awesome bridge works. I'll take photos into PL6, or X7 for raw editing, or ACR for heavy lifting. Super appreciate, thanks.
