Would be cool to have your A-10 fly next to it and do a heritage flight fly by!

Side note...my Dad fought in Korea, 1950, at Chosen. Wounded 3 times as a member of G-3-7, USMC.
HE was flown out to Japan in the belly of C-4 with an extended belly. He told me that he and 4 other Marines sat between one another's legs.
C-4 pilot saved my Dad's life.

HATE TO TELL YOU BUT THAT IS NOT A "BARREL ROLL"! BUT YOU DID EXECUTE A MASTERFUL AILERON ROLL!

These scale RC planes are awesome! I raced radio control cars and trucks I never got into planes honestly just cuz I didn't think I'd be any good at it and I like jumping and throwing dirt with a car I grew up watching dukes of Hazzard

The F4U was made by FMS and sold under the old Airfield brand. I have 3 blue and 2 grey ones. I upgraded one of the blue one to a 60 size e motor on 6 cells. Faster but heavier, noticable in the turns. I think the best setup was with the 46 size E motor with 5 cells.

If I was a navy pilot during WW2 I would have preferred the Hellcat, if I was operating off of land bases in the Pacific as a navy pilot I would have preferred the Corsair

I was about to buy one of these but then I found out that the HobbyTown USA in Orlando closed down

You need to know the difference between a barrel roll and an aileron roll. A barrel roll uses elevator and aileron so that when the aircraft is upside down, it has turned 90 degrees from its starting heading. As it continues turning it pulls up to its original course. Kind of like scribing a line on the inside of a barrel.
An aileron roll just rolls without changing heading.
A barrel roll pulls constant g force so a cup of coffee in your lap will not spill. An aileron roll can be either positive g during the roll or neutral g depending on how much you let the nose move up and down from the starting point on the horizon.

Once on the TV series the Black sheep squadron
I remember hearing major blanket referring
To the F4 U Corsair as a blue charger
It was in the episode where they
had to get CB.S to come and fix the runway
because it was so tore up by bombs....

My favorite air fighter plane when i was a kid and still my favorite just because of the horizontally angled wings

You should see a FUNCTIONAL F4U Corsair (I did at a small airport museum in Idaho)

The 90 twist landing gear was licenced from Curtiss, from their P-40.
