Why WotLK is World of Warcraft's BEST Expansion

Remember when WoW hooked you? Moocluck sure does! In Wrath of the Lich King, Moocluck - a new player to World of Warcraft at the time - was just a simple adventurer, treating WoW like just another game. That is, until he experienced something incredible - an encounter that only World of Warcraft can provide to a person. In celebration of Wrath of the Lich King, Moocluck is sharing his story of how he ultimately fell in love with the game, in a frozen northland far far out of his level zone.

Huzzah! This is also Moocluck's first ever fully narrated video on this channel, so don't be too harsh if you have any criticisms for his narration or story telling. Going forward, look out for more videos voiced by him, as well as Nixxiom himself. Whether they be for World of Warcraft, or other MMOs. See you guys in Northrend, everyone! Be sure not to get too cold while fighting against the Lich King.

Man, moocluck describing the feeling of winning the blue protodrake... it's an unforgettable feeling, getting your very first rare mount! Mine was the Zulian Tiger, as Alliance, back in TBC!

For me, it was a few hours after the release of Vanilla. I had gotten my Undead rogue to level 11 without dying and was pretty proud of myself as I ran out to Silverpine Forest. I saw a herb off the road, ran over to pick it and some huge monster came out of nowhere, 2 shot me and made me squeal like a 6 year old girl...which is a pretty good trick for a 48 year old man with a bass voice. That was my introduction to the Sons of Arugal and it definitely made a very lasting impression.

I’m norwegian, and I love Howling Fjord just for that reason alone - I feel at home. Man wotlk is great, and so are your content guys. Glad to hear your voice again Moocluck!

Btw: There’s no protodrakes here.

WHolesome stories that many of us can relate to! I started as Human warrior a month before tbc was released then I quickly switched over to Blood Elf pali. As soon as WoTlk came out I rolled DK and have been that ever since so much so that FB memories reminds me annually.

Love this view from Moocluck. WotL was the first expansion I got into wow with (I also played as a death knight so another reason I love Nixxioms content). Good to see people have such good memories of wow

6:15 I too won the blue proto back when wrath was current. Tho I won it on a need roll, someone said "everyone roll greed!" when it dropped, I waited for everyone to roll then rolled need of course. They kicked me from the instance right after. 0 regrets. I won the drake of the.. something wind from that 5 man in cata the same way. "roll greed" but they didn't kick me from that group. I was in my early teens back in wrath. So much nostalgia.

Man, I missed Moocluck! Great to see our favorite warlock again! I remember starting WoW during Cataclysm, at the ripe age of 10. My first character was a night elf hunter. Of course, I never had the luxury of buying the sub at that young age, so I remember making a character of every available race, and getting every class to level 20. I did that for years until Legion came out, when I was able to buy the sub. 12 years now, and WoW is still my favorite MMO to play. Hyped for Dragonflight next month!

i started in VERY late BC, and one of my first toons was a blood elf.
exploring eversong and ghostlands as a level 2 was exhilarating

3:00 that is my same introduction to northrend! I was around wetlands level and decided to hop on that big ass steam boat to see where it went. That ride got me fucking hooked instantly. It was so immersive. On top of that the music that plays during it just adds to the whole experience. Then you reach the town and it's under attack by giants and wolves, as well as dragon riders shooting the buildings from above.

Love the sound of your Voice, Moocluck. And I couldn't agree more with your story. I had exactly the same thoughts and feelings all these years ago riding on the boat into the howling fjord. Gettin sentimental = gettin old i guess ^^
