BlizzCon 2007: Wrath of the Lich King Reveal

Premiering at BlizzCon 2007, this teaser trailer revealed to the world a first look at some of the environments in World of Warcraft's second expansion, as well as the coming conflict with the Lich King. Also announced in this video are some of the original features planned during Wrath of the Lich King's development.

I still remember the day this released.

I was just sitting at home, on my laptop. It was after school, and I'd finished all of my work for the day so I was just relaxing, playing WoW and talking with my buddies about how awesome Wrath was going to be. They'd already started playing and I hadn't even pre-ordered the expansion, so I was just running around leveling.

My dad walks in, home from work, and comes right into the den where I was hanging out with my brother and shows me a bag. Inside was the white box, the physical copy of the expansion. I couldn't believe it. I didn't think he'd pre-ordered it for me, or that he was even aware it was out, but he knew I absolutely loved WoW and bought the expansion for me.

I spent the entire night playing before I had to go to bed for school the next day, but even in the morning I woke up early enough that I could continue playing.
