"No pain, no gain." probably isn't the best choice of words here, although I'm sure you've been working long and hard on this beach shack renovation. A couple days of R&R with the loved ones couldn't hurt. I'll add this to my prayer requests, since He is "the Great Phyician." Really mate, take a break. Even though all your fans are anxious for your next video, we can wait. Thanks, as always, for your time and effort on these video tutorials.

Always a pleasure. Interesting to see how you build "down under". For my knee issues i use Naproxen (aka Aleve). For a home remedy I am told that ground up egg shells with that inner membrane is supposed to help with joint inflammation. Put it in a capsule and take like a vitamin or add it to a smoothy or something that will cover the grittiness. The egg shells may take a while to notice any effect, more as a preventative measure!

Hi Shane, from one owner builder to another RAPIGEL # works. Knees, shoulders any joints. Oh and the build is coming on nicely.

Lots of icing and perhaps a soft compression brace that you can wear while working. The foam filled kind with the open knee cap hole. You may have to get them at a pharmacy. Also Ibuprofen taken with meals should help and whenever possible keep your leg or knee raised above your heart. Lying on the sofa, bed or floor with enough pillows under your knee for support. There are prescription anti inflammatories available too if you want to see your doctor. I take a pill call Diclofenac. It's been around a very long time and it's nickname is the Mickey Mantle pill because he supposedly took during his baseball career. btw, I've had both of my knees replaced due tears and eventually from arthritis, so I feel your pain. Don't overdo it and maybe take a break for a few days till the swelling calms down. You'll only hurt it worse if you keep pushing through it.

Hi Shane use a compression sleeve while you work, as well as rapigel and ibuprofen .

Gidday,
Love the videos. Even built a workbench based on your initial design.
I know this is probably a bit late, but if the knee is inflamed and swollen then it's pretty much rest and ice. If you can get your hands on some Arnica cream it will do wonders for the knee as well and will help with any bruising.

Shane, try pissing on your Knee and slamming down 1/2 a dozen stubbies should be fine, for a good few hours, repeat process 4 times a day. This can be a bit costly, but should work. if this does not help, contact your local doctor. Regards Peter

Looking good Shane. Too bad about the knee. Icing it is always a good recommendation and some over the counter ibuprofen can help. I'm no doctor though. :)

Evening! Just wondering what method you used to attach the stud walls to the concrete slab??

Enjoyed the video, Shane, it's coming along nicely. Ice and one of the Ibuprofen's mentioned should do the trick. As you know, the Doctor would most likely tell you the same thing plus "stay off it for a while".

Hi Conlan, try naproxen (generic name). If you have it in 220 mg tablets, you can take two tablets twice a day after meals. I hope you feel better soon.
