Hi, thanks for the detailed review, was really looking for this . Wanna ask an additional information. What do you think of 3d modeling (zbrush) and little rendering (octane) for surface pro? Need and mobile pen supported display. Was going between Asus zenbook duo, I pad pro (no mad software) and now this surface pro. Which would you reccomend out of these 3 as in performane in modeling and rendering?

I have an M1 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 2TB storage, and a magic keyboard and I would never buy another iPad Pro. The iPad Pro hardware and its technical performance is amazing, but it's crippled by iPoor OS, sorry iPad OS. An iPad Pro will never replace a laptop because you are imprisoned in a walled garden ecosystem of mostly mediocre smart phone style apps. Apple effectively dictates what apps you can and cannot run on your iPad Pro through its strict and anti-completive App Store policies, and especially since they made sideloading apps even more difficult when they upgraded from iPad OS 16 to 17. An iPad Pro cannot format, repair or image external SSDs / memory cards. It cannot run virtual machines or a full IDE making it useless for a software coder. Any iPad OS web browser must use Apple's awful Web Kit, which gets in the way of your internet web browsing experience and doesn't let you install web apps. Technically the iPad Pro could do all of this and more, but Apple won't let you, because they want you to buy both an iPad and a MacBook. iPad OS prevents the M4 iPad Pro from fully utilizing its incredible technical capability. Everything you can do an M4 iPad Pro you can do on an M2 iPad Air for less money and less wasted tablet performance. I've been running Windows 11 arm for over 15 months as my daily driver. My Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is not a powerful as my iPad Pro, but I can do so much more with it, like run Linux and Android apps alongside my Windows apps and its silent. Windows 11 arm is not perfect but has come a long way and the Windows 11 24H2 update (release preview) has significantly improved performance and x64 emulation on my arm PC. Qualcomm's new Snapdragon X Elite extra performance will further enhance the Windows 11 arm experience. For me and my computing needs, the Surface Pro 11 wins outright over the M4 iPad Pro because it runs an operating system for grown-ups. If Apple allowed the M4 iPad Pro to run Mac OS as well as iPad OS, which technically it could when paired with a keyboard and mouse, it may have been a different outcome.

I'm going to buy my first tablet. I have heard great things about the iPad but I really like the specifications of the surface. However, I see that they weigh twice as much as an iPad. The weight difference seems like an important variable to me, don't you think so?

I wonder how many years it will take Apple to integrate Mac OS into iPad and how many thousands of dollars it will also cost? I’ll never buy another iPhone I’ll sure as hell never buy another iPad.

Frankly speaking, the Surface Pro would offer the better value.

It's not really a tablet but a full-fledged PC in tablet form (tablety PC, if yiu care to call it that).

iPads are perhaps the best tablet computers out there, but they don't give you that PC-level of utility.

Again, it's interesting that Windows is finally full in on ARM and with a powerful SOC that rivals some of the M series chips.

If I'm to choose, I'll go for the surface and that's even as it's cheaper and offers more utility.

The only bad thing about the Surface are those ugly irregular bezels.
