Let's be real, the score you make on the LSAT doesn't mean anything except you mastered a standardized test. It doesn't mean you will be a good attorney, a good law student, or anything. It just shows law schools that you are willing to work.

I don't know if I should say this, nor if anyone will even see it. But, if you go to the Law School Admissions Council's website, they actually offer like 100 LSAT prep test for 100$/year. Not associated with them at all, just figured I found this very helpful when preparing and others may too.

Hey, can you make a separate video about the LSAT and what's the best way to prepare for it.

I went to a mom and pop local law school for a year because I got a 137 on my lsat, I was not happy there and got out. Currently I'm studying for the lsat again. I now see a similarity with "issue spotter" on a law school test (contracts, Criminal law, torts, civil procedure) and the way I'm outlining my logical reasoning prep tests, as well as the Reading comprehension section. My advice to any future law student is to be proactive in your test prep, keep pencil in your hand and keep pencil moving, outlining the most important words or phrases. Master this, and when you get to law school, issue spotting will be so much easier, trust me😎
As for the "Games section", I did not see any use for law school per see, but, maybe when you are an attorney your boss will ask you to put a case together for review 😽

Here's the difference between taking practice LSAT exams and law school exams: You have all the time in the world to take LSAT practice exams while you DONT have time to take many law school finals! During your law school finals you have back to back exams, eg- Monday, con law, Tuesdays Crim law, Wednesday your legal writing assignment is due....see what I'm saying?

I’m so glad in Australia we don’t have an LSAT as Law is undergrad in 95% of unis here

I just love that LSAC have freely admitted the logic games is biased against blind applicants, yet continue to refuse to remove it. Essentially the organization that tests would-be attorneys (and by extension the professional trade organization that accredits law schools and sets certification standards, since the ABA insisted as of 1997, one year after a blind candidate successfully got the LSAT requirement waived by Northwestern, that no future waivers be issued) are in such flagrant violation of civil rights law that they *admit* they’re acting criminally and still do nothing. At this point I don’t see why a RICO suit would be out of the question other than time and expense. They’re already under a damn federal consent decree for flagging results from anyone with accommodations. I don’t blame any individual admissions officer- their hands are effectively tied by ABA. But there’s no way in hell I’m even trying until this is resolved because I’ll never get into a good enough school to pay off my loans on the back end.

Since these law school exams are argumentative and in essay form, how do you grade them? Is there an answer key provided to compare with what you wrote on the practice exams?

I just took my LSAT, and I am so scared for the results.

Hey LegalEagle, do you recommend I get a tutor? The only tutors available that I found in the San Diego area are online tutors and to me, the idea of having tutors online sounds ineffective. However, their reviews are all top notch so I’m not sure what to think. Please let me know what you think if you can :)

Don't believe the dogma that LSAT doesn't matter. Regardless of whether it matters for you personally, it matters for your law school admissions. LSAT is weighted more significantly than GPA, and together they determine about 80% of the decisions that law schools make in admissions. You are more than your LSAT and GPA, but to law schools, you are not much more than your LSAT and GPA.

So I have a question, I will be taking my LSAT soon but I have bad test anxiety how can I calm myself in this? And also if I were to take my LSAT the ending of this month, will I still be okay for a law school?

This video was helpful as I'm currently taking and LSAT prep course. Can you explain what issue spotting is though?

Hey LegalEagle! Quick question on the LSAT. Do you think that as Law School uses ISEs, it would be a good idea to write the LSAT writing sample in the same way you would approach an ISE?

Your videos are incredibly helpful. Would I be able to contact you regarding very specific law school questions? I’m barely going to start undergrad in the fall, but would like to get ahead and prepare for the LSAT already. Thank you for your kind consideration.

I disagree with your advice to take as many law school practice exams *as early as you can.* If you take them too early, you'll just write nonsense because you haven't done the readings and you don't understand the material yet (especially in 1st year where you don't even know how to "think like a lawyer" yet). You ought to do them sometime in the weeks leading up to your final.

Hey LegalEagle?
Which prep course did you take? How many months did you spend studying? Online or in person? I heard that Blueprint (BP), Powerscore (PS), & testmasters (TS) are the best. I heard that the getting the powerscore bilbes are a great way to prepare. I also just got the online Kaplan version but I heard Kaplan&princeton are the worst so I might return and get BP, PS, & TS?

My work schedule Mon, Tues, & Thurs work 8-6
so LSAT studying: 7-10 on Mon, Tues, & Thurs
But on my off days I am going to study all day so Wed, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 8-10 hours. I will probably wake up early around 7 or 8 so that I can study for 10 hours

Total Mon, Tues, & Thurs 9 hours
Off days Wed, Fri, Sat, & Sunday 32 (8hrsaday) or 40 hours (10hoursaday)
Studying:49 hours a week
Working:30 hours working

I hope this enough time studying, I know that I can't spend as much time studying as you did, but hopefully this a good amount of time

Please let me know prep course you used.

Thanks
