Milwaukee 1/2' Impact Socket Deal with PACKOUT Case & Bits / Finally a Price I can Justify 😂

Just picked up the Milwaukee 1/2" Impact Socket Set in the Packout Case. Part # 49-66-6806

These are expensive for how much I use them, but the price with what all I got with them males them more reasonable for me. Sharing with you my thought on how I got the price down (in my mind). The deal is still going on now for the few that might be in the same boat as me.

I also at the end ask about a product I have been offered to review... the Seesii 1/2" High Torque - Let me know if you are interested for a review on that...

Hope it was useful & THANKS FOR WATCHING!

I think that 1/2” impact set should not be kept in the garage. Those belong on the living room coffee table or on the mantle with overhead accent led spotlights - darn those look good! Of course then you’d need a display set and a working set…
Nice video on the advantages of these new packout systems and how they add value. Gives us weekend diyers ideas on how to use some of these ideas to be more organized and efficient for our projects. If you can’t find the tools you need and get them efficiently to the project location, they aren’t useful. I like to say the hardest question for any project isn’t what new tools I need to get but which tools I’m going to leave behind. Having things organized in these modular packout systems makes it easier to just grab what you really need wthout spending half the day sorting through a bin of tools or an hour carting stuff you don’t need.
As for justification, if this $200 investment saves you 10 to 15 minutes on a half dozen different projects, you probably break even and the rest is profit after that. If working with these gorgeous red & black sockets improves your attitude, your quality of work improves and your clients are happier. In fact, I don’t think you could afford NOT to get these. (and yes, my wife rolls her eyes too when I try that on her). Enjoy the new to(y)ols and thanks for the video!

Me, I just put something I wanted in the garage and if my wife noticed it, I just tell her I got that cheap with a gift certificate, awhile ago and that usually keeps my life more peaceful 👍🏼

Awesome video. I think it’s a great deal. Sae and metric plus up to an 1 1/2 socket with a life time warranty equals awesome! Really would like to see a video on that Seesii impact!

Good deal. Seems like a win, win having the foam in them too

That seesii is a good little impact if you're looking for a budge friendly one. I think you should b 3 able to put the slim trays on top of the foam to customize that standard organizer, I added other sockets and extensions under mine and damn near doubled the weight, did it to the swallow 1/2"drive packout too.

Reminds me of an old joke…

A man answered his door to find a delivery driver dropping off a pallet of cat food. He yells to his wife

“Did you order a whole pallet of cat food?”

“Yes, honey, I found a deal and the cat food was 50% off !!!”

“But we don’t have a fucking

Solid justification. That is a very nice looking socket set! It’s hard to find a reasonably priced and complete set of half-inch impact sockets. Grey Pneumatic and Tekton sell individual sets (either metric or SAE), but they are all in the $100+ range, especially for deep sockets. Plus no one has as nice markings on their sockets as Milwaukee. I’d say you scored.

I still like the small and medium toughcase vit holders. The packout is too big for that and eats space. There are 3d printed solutions but the dewalt is better i think. Plus you can get the craftsman versions to match your Milwaukee red.

If you have a use for them, then you got a good deal. It might be a little pricey, but Milwaukee is generally a top brand in most tools. That is a set I have been trying to justify myaelf.

Just picked up the 3/8" drive set because it was marked down from $150 --> $109.

Considering this because the Packout case is $50, so that basically makes the sockets less than $7/ea -- how did you get a 10% off coupon...?

“A man should never have to justify what he spends his wage on” idk something I live by someone famous said it 😂 pretty much if you make the money spend it on things that please you

Maybe do an episode on how you got your wife to approve. That might be the most helpful video on all of YouTube. 😂

Great video, I wouldn't bother with the impact.
I would think that people watching your channel wouldn't buy that impact and I guess you wouldn't want it in your collection either 😂
