“Five years ago, the EU [European Union] decided to trap migrants and asylum seekers in five centers on the Greek islands to solve the so-called “migration crisis,” says Reem Mussa, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) humanitarian advisor on migration. “In fact, the EU created a crisis that they continue to recycle today.” The EU’s migration policies put the health, wellbeing, and safety of people trapped on the Greek islands in jeopardy. People who have survived violence and hardship are stuck in appalling conditions with a lack of information on their legal status and are subjected to harsh border and asylum procedures.

This is not going to work without taking excisting rules and regulations as the Dublin-treaty into account and unfortunately organizations nor ngo's have come up with a better solution respecting these rules/regulations/treaties. Scolding the people who provide help might actually not be the best cause of action. But in your vid you mention yourself that this is about migration policy which is very different from the refugee treaty. Refugees, when they have been recognised as such, have different rights but your vid is not about refugees but about migration policy (your words not mine). Funding of the EU is largely provided by the tax payer and many EU-citizens, as for ex the Greek themselves are not rich by any means. Although some EU-countries are well off, there is no infinite wealth available anywhere which can be redistributed and many EU-projects lack sufficient funding as is, which results in for ex the condition housing like in Moria. However tax payers have the right to expect to get something for their paid taxes as well, so even the tax money which is available should partially be returned in projects which benefits the tax payers themself. So in order to to get change you might actually like to make a proposal which covers migrant rights and solutions respecting excisting rules/regulations and treaties and perhaps make a positive contribution which even leads to some solutions.
