Avoid This Russian Twist Mistake #abs

Russian twist is that one ab exercise that no one gets it right from the first time. A common mistake is to focus on tapping the floor left and right without actually rotating your core and engaging your obliques. Instead, focus on driving your elbows back behind your body to ensure rotation and full contraction in your obliques.

Tip: never cross the legs! It puts more tension on the lower leg hip flexor causing uneven abs.

There is nothing wrong with tapping! As long as your twisting, have the proper form, and your back is not in pain!
