Overclocking a $20 GPU Until I Get 240 FPS

Today I tried overclocking the worst, slowest, cheapest and most overpriced graphics card until I got 240 FPS. For the past few years, Fortnite has been an extremely demanding Esports title, until today. In this video I'm going to optimize and overclock my $20 USD Nvidia GeForce GT 710 until we can run a smooth 240 FPS in Fortnite Battle Royale, in Chapter 5. The funny thing is that it doesn't even reach Fortnite's minimum requirements, and the PC itself has PC parts that are older than Fortnite itself, so this was a fun Fortnite challenge.

The amounts of unwarranted trash talk in this video is just astounding... He trashed HDD's, a third gen core i5, he didn't do a lot of overclocking at all, compared the (really awful) gt 710 to the best integrated graphics we recently got (780m), went about a "165 fps minimum" and how 60 fps isn't playable, and worst of all, was that he relied on a bunch of random performance boosts rather than overclocking the gpu to "get" to the target, worst 7 minutes of my life (I had no willpower left to continue on watching)

2:18 The I5 3570 still a pretty decent CPU for light gaming. The slow response is most likely due to the SSD being stuck at 100% in idle. lol.

As a Gt710 owner in 2024 I have stopped looking at requirements in indie games too I just filter games from 2007-2014
