Ive noticed this about dark is that he always gets the last reset when it is almost impossible to get one due to how close he is to the ground. He somehow manages to adjust his car to get it. It almost always looks really ugly because like i said... it is hard to get a reset when too close to the ground. This makes the shot unpredictable. Most people would just fake or delay using their flip but no one expects this.
