It's something you can do since Chapter 2 was released.

This is not a glitch. Fortnite even show cased it in the season 6 chapter 2 trailer. I'm pretty sure it's been in since chapter 2.

It’s hilarious, cause in season 1 (chapter 2) there was a challenge to stop fall damage with a hideout, and since those were relatively new back then I thought these bushes were considered hideouts XD

Unfortunately you're. Bit late to this one.. But, commentary is good.
(Psst, so you know. You can also walk through a bush and build up and as long as you don't jump or fall, you still won't take fall damage.)
