She seems really strong, and she's been nothing but consistent. I think she's a contender for a medal this year. In the 200, she's run a WL, and in the 100, she's run times that are competitive with Ta-Lou, Richardson, and Jackson. She could medal at world's this year, and she probably has room for improvement next year. I imagine that Jackson will up her game in the 200, but there's a lot of parity in the 100 this season without Fraser-Pryce dominating. College stars often fade at worlds, and veterans sometimes show up out of no where and run brilliantly, but Alfred is still looking really good.

The greatest collegiate performance of all time starts and ends with Jesse Owens’ four *world* records in 45 minutes. Unless and until someone even matches that, let alone set more world records in under an hour, Owens owns the greatest collegiate performance ever, and everyone else is vying for #2.

She is possibly the most promising athlete competing in the NCAA at the moment, but a podium finish is a big ask in the solo events. They are so stacked and even though we've not seen much of Elaine and Shelly-Ann this year, finishing ahead of Marie-José, Sha'carri and Shericka won't be easy. On the plus side, she has a very good chance of a podium finish in the 4x1.

3:30; Yeah noticed since indoors that Julien leans a little too early at the finish line which according to Coach Flo is cos they've been holding back on working on certain things (which will now be addressed) to keep her as fresh as possible for the WC in about 8wks time. She needs to rest & recover the rest of June, then run 2-3 DL Races in July in preparation for the WC in mid-August.

Coach Flo also mentioned that she no longer plans to run the 200m @Major Champs cos of how much she hates it which I don't get cos you'd think running a bunch of 4x4s this year would've made it clear how much less of a pain the 200m is in comparison, plus she's passing up the chance of winning extra medals at future Global Champs since relay medals are going to be out of her reach with being from such a small island nation.

She is from St. Lucia not Texas. She is studying in Texas. An absolutely amazing athlete. We all hope she continues to develop and dominate at the pro level in a few years

Loved track and field when young. Ran an 11.17 - 100 yard in 7th grade at 12 years old. Was winning literally everything. Then parents got divorced. I never went back to track. Thinkmit might have been a mistake. Years later started basketball and got a walk on position at UTEP as a point guard with team mates Tim Hardaway, Antonio Davis, Greg Foster and others. Track had taught me a first step that was so fast, I could not be guarded very well. Broken neck in a car accident that year ended that.

All good memories all the same.

She can absolutely medal in worlds. Womens sprinting is at an all time high with several women running 10.7s and 21 seconds, but she fits right in.
