This customer’s kitchen sink has clogged three times in the last 60 days and each time the plumber charged the customer a new fee, his friend recommended this plumber so he trusted him. The plumber never put a camera down to see that the line had a grease blockage he probably would of kept on poking holes and charging this poor guy fees til the end of time had he not decided to get second opinion.... Smh what is wrong with people these days? Elderly abuse is as bad as child abuse in my eyes and it takes a real despicable individual to abuse the Elderly or Children..... Society has no place for people like that.

When I moved in with the woman I was dating a few years ago she had a clog in her kitchen sink. She had paid the same plumber to come out twice, the second time they even charged big money and said they jetted the line and it still clogged up a third time. On the third time I told her that they were trying to scam her and they weren't actually doing the job right. I went down and got a commercial style drain unclogger and did it myself and about fifty feet in I felt another clogged that I pushed into the main line and it never clogged again.

My opinion is this: Whenever unclogging any drain if you are able to inspect that drain with a camera you are able to determine whether or not you’ve properly done your job, it also allows you to provide the customer with a warranty without any guessing involved. If you camera the line and see the line is perfectly clear with no problematic areas that need to be addressed you can confidently give your customer a warranty knowing if the drain does clog again it won’t be because you didn’t do your job properly.

I spent many years clearing drains without a camera and I rarely had a call back on a drain line but there were still the occasional call backs, now with my camera I waste less time and I have not had a call back since purchasing sewer cameras

Just because the plumber didn't own high-end equipment doesn't mean he's a bad guy. But him charging every time he comes out for the same problem does. If you can't fix it right the first time then tell the customer and refer them to someone else or come back free if charge each time.

I did plumbing for a living . The elderly man made the mistake of not asking the plumber if there was a charge for coming back to fix the clogged drain he neglected to fix the first time .Also most plumbers do repair and or replace service work. Drains are usually cleaned and repaired or replaced by sewer and drain companies that usually have all the equipment necessary to complete the job . The so called " plumber " didn't have a camera because he probably doesn't do that type of work .Ide bitch at the friend for the recommendation .
