The ambulance crashing into the tree and Homer falling down the gorge again was brilliant! But I always laughed when Homer kept bumping his head against the rock when the helicopter pulled him up. XD

I love how this time, instead of doing something risky out of stupidity or thrilling, Homer did it to teach Bart a lesson. He was a really good dad in this episode.

A masterclass in comedic timing. The way the show makes you think the joke is over and winding down just for it to suddenly start all over again! The squeaky wheels as the stretcher rolls out of the ambulance makes it even better!

The Simpsons up until this point was really good but I think this specific moment is when it went to legendary status and stayed there until 1998. Couldn't breathe the first time I saw this i was laughing so hard. Still makes me chuckle all these years later.

The fact that Homer fell down the Gorge twice, and survived is amazing.

It's one of those moments in the Simpsons where he could've died. Still funny as Hell though.
