But be warned - the trench is home to unimaginable horrors that will test your courage and cunning to the limit. Can you survive the terrors of the deep and complete your mission, or will you succumb to the horrors of the Trench?

Love the educational start! So let's continue it :)
10:27 that sure looks like a humpback, however depth says 1600 meters, which is 1000 m deeper than the deepest recorded dive of a humpback.
The beaked whale can hold it's breath for over 220 minutes, which is over 3.5 hours!

Thank you for the science lesson Fooster! The reason why mountains shift is due to tectonic plates which make up the Earth's crust, or outermost layer. Basically huge slabs of land that shift causes earthquakes and tremors. The rubbing of two plates is why mountains are formed in the first place, as the land juts out from the crust. Same concept applies to already existing mountains, so that's why they might change in size and/or altitude

One of my favorite facts, airlines cruise at 35-40k feet. Which means if you look up and see a plane, that’s how deep the ocean is if you stand on the bottom.

A father and his son making video games together sounds genuinely wholesome.

I love how excited you are, looking up facts and info, it just made this video 100 times better.

I love the addition of skull that seems to be from a Dragon near the end. The subtle "yes, there were, and perhaps still are, other creatures of myth and legend. But THIS one, at least, this pinnacle of power suffered the same fate as everything else..."

I thought it was cool that you did some research about a subject related to the game and shared that information with your viewers. Love your videos Fooster.

For anyone who's ever been in an airplane; cruising altitude is 35-37, 000 feet. Imagine how tiny buildings are from up that high, then imagine those buildings at the bottom of the trench and you're on the surface of the water. Incredible.

Thanks Fooster for one more video. I wanted to suggest to you Barotrauma. A submarine management with pretty scary monsters. It's better played in multiplayer (at least much more fun). So why not ask Fisk and Olof to come along? I am sure you would love it! I have been playing it for the last few weeks and it's so cool! Loving it! Cheers!

You really should start making short documentarys. Your voice is excellent for storytelling.

I absolutely love games like this. The setting makes it for me. Something about underwater submersibles, the lack of space and realization that if anything major happens, you're basically screwed. It's also why I like space horror so much, but underwater bases (like in DeepStar Six) are just so fascinating to me.

2:19 Fun fact! Mauna Kea in Hawai’i is technically the “tallest” mountain from base to peak at about 10, 200 meters in height, as opposed to Everest being just shy of 9k meters, but since the majority of its height resides under sea level it isn’t usually considered the tallest mountain.

But it beats Everest if you’re just counting the actual height of the mountain!
