Basically the traits the companies look for:
YG - patient
SM - compliant
Hybe - self-reliant
JYP - fast-learner

If that's true, I think JYP's reason is logical. Hybe is fine too.

JYPe kicking out people easily is probably because they don't have trainee debt, they can't afford into spending money on someone who's not making the expected progress, they want someone who learns fast or that has a bit of training already, cheaper on the agency, cheaper for the idol as well. If it's like that it's really logic and convenient for both sides

You may debut late in yg but you can't deny that every group they debuted has found success in their career they also pay salaries way earlier

JYP’s thing is pretty logical in my opinion. Would you keep your trainee under your company for years on end just to let them down after them training for 4+ years? If they don’t see enough potential or improvement it’s better for the company to not invest and better for the trainees mental health to not have false hope. For me personally, I’d rather get cut off by JYP one year into training with them rather than having them wait to watch my skills improve or to see my potential just to cut me off after giving me false hope.

Jyp makes a lot of sense considering they see their trainees as investments and offers free stuff like therapists and balanced meals

With HYBE, actually I don't believe that they have less training with the trainees. Sakura said that only with HYBE, she had proper training most especially with her voice. Kazuha also trained most especially in dancing because she practiced almost all of her life in ballet. She needs to train modern dance that is why HYBE sent a dancer trainer to her. Another thing, they have a hard evaluation. So I believe that they do have trainers in those categories.

Sm's lead to perfection has ruined so many idols. I am not saying that plastic surgery is bad but if it is against the wish of the person and pressuring then that's bad. But what can we do, thus industry is heavily dependent on visual > talent. I wish that kpop Stans didn't pressurise the idols as well upon their beauty, y'all are the reason of the cause.

Being a trainee in JYPe is a pathway to be successful as a lot of successful artists and idols were once a trainee under JYPe or even debuted in JYP such as Hyuna, Jay Park & Somi

Hybe one is pretty cool I think-they just want to have talented trainees, not crap or something. In this way they can check, who has potential and true skills.

YG is very picky about debuting the trainee. Promising doesn't mean you debut if you are not improving. They pick the most talented one that deserved to be debuted. You know that YG paid the most salary to their idol so debuting the talented one is the key for the group to be successful and worth paid.

If I had to debut, i would chose yg as the groups get their salaries right after debut💀

The thing about yg is that even if u didn't debut u will be at least super talented and could go to other company and debut like Miyeon from (G)I-dle

You can say whatever you want about the big 4 but something they do offer their trainees is immediate and I mean IMMEDIATE popularity and success. It is almost impossible for groups that com from the big 4 to fail . The difference about debuting in a smaller label/company with a the big 4 is that you get fame and exposure even before debuting. The members from Baby monster, a group from YG that hasn’t even debuted yet, have already a lot of fan accounts and the group is already being overhyped because it comes from YG. Groups like NMIXX, Le Sserafim, ITZY and others had a massive debut success while other groups from smaller companies celebrate getting their debut song to a million views. If you debut with the big 4 you have guaranteed success while if you debut with a smaller company you will be lucky that your label is not thinking about disbandment after the first year.

Jyp's reason is logical tho, why waste years of training if that thing was not meant for you!

You forgot one thing : you don't have to talented just be pretty and have rich parents and you get in

But yg do cover all of the trainees expenses tho😂, they doesn’t even have any debt when they leave n just need to move on and find a better place that can accept them for who they are

I don’t think YG promises quick debut anymore, people knows it’ll take a long time to debut there 😅
