🧀About Chef Tyler!

Hi, I’m Tyler. I’m lactose intolerant (yes, really) and love travelling, eating, and of course, cooking grilled cheeses. In February 2024 I left the US in search of the World’s Best Grilled Cheese. For the rest of the year, I’ll be trying new foods and experimenting with more flavors to try and get closer to making the best tasting grilled cheese anyone’s ever had.

Let me know where you think the world’s best grilled cheese inspiration could be and thank you for being a part of this journey!

Such a warm video without any bias and assumptions. Hope you loved our local food, and please visit again as there are more delicacies and authentic Newari foods of the Kathmandu valley natives to try for.

Rs. 400 for puri tarkari? You got ripped off bro. It should be around 80-100 at most.
Momo price was fair. And the reason you got different plate might be because you got chicken momo. Chicken momo usually get different plate and better chautney as they are more expensive.
Lastly you can just eat daal bhat with spoon.

For all people complaining. I know high end restaurants cost that much but that puri tarkari is not high end whatsoever. And yes I don't eat at high end restaurant as it is overpriced and scam. Just because you pay that doesn't make not overpriced.

Great video! Please note that the menu you showed already had a price of puri tarkari and in expensive area that’s the regular rate. People telling you can get 80rs puritarkari but they didn’t tell you which place exactly! I have paid 500rs for veg momo in thamels restaurant, coffees cost 200 to 500 depending upon where you go!
Scamming could happen sometime but I am frustrated seeing people randomly confidently telling you got scammed for puritarkari. No, Kathmandu can be cheaper and more expensive depends on where you go and Thamel Jhamsikhel Bhaispati etc are expensive and price range differs!

You ate with hands perfectly. It can get really messy if you don’t know how to do it properly, but the way you did was pretty good.
