My husbands stroke story….part 1

On September 9th, 2024, my entire world came crashing down, when I learned my husband had one of the biggest hemorrhagic strokes the neurosurgeon had ever seen.

& I was in Australia on the other side of the world

& that was just 1 part of the problem, he also had pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) & he developed a pulmonary embolism in the hospital.

I honestly never tonight I’d see my husband again. And I truly feared that our daughter Oakley (only 10 months at the time), would have to grow up without her daddy…that’s the thought that kept me up at night.

It just wasn’t his time. 🙏

This video is from 5am on sept 13th, just hours before he his lungs began failing him and before he went into lung failure.

Thank you all for following our journey and for all the love, support & kindness you all have shown me and my family. This season of life is extra heavy so please continue to keep us in your prayers!!

For a healthy athletic 37 year old to suffer a stroke is so scary.
I hope he is gonna recover soon and get back to his normal self.

By the way Australia is not a 3rd world country. The healthcare system in Australia is comparable to the medicine we have here in the us.
