Setting up for a two sided tumbler engraving on a Co2 laser

One important step before this is to make sure you have your steps per rotation exactly right if you want both centers to be just right. I never even thought of your method for double-sided engravings. Gonna have to use it!

How does the image snap to the lines for centering? Is there something I need to do to the boxes first?

Ok! I tried this but when i go to center my logo it frames it way to the side which screws everything up!!…I'm guessing it has something to do with the SPR ? if not idk what it is I've tried several times. It's my first time doing double sided so I could very well be doing something else wrong. Customer doesn't want double sided I just made it out like that to make it easier to find the center of the opposite side of the yeti Logo...Help Please!!

Hey man. I actually never did personalization on my tumblers because of all the math it would kill me duding busy season (Christmas). Your way is so easy. The problem I’m having is I make the center box and it don’t snap centered on the lines. I have snap to onject turned on. Do you know what setting I’m missing. Big ups on the math in the height box.

Used this for the first time today. Worked great. I do have a question though. On one of your other videos, you talk about using a box around your graphic so the laser doesn't slam into and start the graphic compressed. I did just what you did in this video, except that I used a tool line for a box instead of picking a color and turning it off. On the graphic I'm using, it starts off on an angled point, and is getting a small flat spot there, Could this be because I"m using a tool line instead of a regular line that is turned off? I can't figure out why it's doing this. I did two, and have 18 more to do tomorrow. Thanks.

The boxes I would put on T1 or T2 then you don't have to worry about remembering to tick the output button on that cut layer.

I’m using your tutorial however they are not lining up on opposite sides of the tumbler from each other. Any idea what may be causing this?

I am completely new to tumblers. How do you set up "snap lines?" I made the two boxes but they didn't automatically center themselves. I did it manually.

Newbie here! I am using XCS software and using your method is working on non-labeled tumblers. If I use a Yeti tumbler (30 0z) how do you align the images with the Yeti logo?

I wish somebody could show me how to do this on the XTool. I can’t find a video that shows me how. I tried this method but it won’t let me manipulate/customize the rectangle. I’ll set the height but it chooses the width for me 🤦🏾‍♀️

i followed our directions to the tee and my name was off- loks like my first letter engraved where the center of the name should have been. So I have an order for a tumbler and am a bit nervous- masking tape here I come.

whats the best way to set this up with you are engraving on a tumbler that has a logo already engraved on it...like Yeti. How can you get it centered over the logo while doing a two side engrave?
