Considering they gave us a loading screen for completing the Part 5 quests and didn't put the usual "Next Part" timer for the story quests. It seems like this other part is more so a teaser for next season.
And perhaps the fact that THESE story quests end once that one begins is meant to show that what occurs in those story quests REQUIRES it to be canon for EVERYONE that the events of the previous quests have actually happened. For an example of what I mean, it's like how you can't do last season's lore quests THIS season. That's because the events of those quests (where we defeat Zeus) has now canonically already HAPPENED and so it wouldn't make sense for us to still be able to do quests where we prepare to defeat him.

...Does any of this make sense or am I just senselessly rambling right now?

I think the fact they're ending this set of story quests here and presumably starting the next set in a separate tab or something is meant to suggest that the events of the first 5 questlines have now officially happened canonically regardless of whether the player has actually completed them. For an example, this would be similar to how when this season came, you couldn't do season 2's lore quests. That's because in those quests we defeated Zeus, but in season 3, Zeus is already defeated canonically (and is also no longer a boss) so it wouldn't make sense to still have those quests around and be preparing to defeat a threat that's already gone.

I think the quests end on August 9th because that is the day the Leviathan live event starts or happens and then at D-23 a new Marvel season teaser gets revealed that same day we don't know if the Leviathan event will be a mini live event or full length but if it is full length that would be incredible and it would be Charlie Wen finally listening to the community about bringing back actual live events so hopefully the event is full length and we don't know if there will be a Marvel season teaser at D-23 but there will hopefully and most likely be one and I think the Beware the Wanderer quests will be given out to everyone after the Leviathan event maybe if it happens on August 9th

Watch it’ll be its own thing, instead it will actually be the mini live event we get them they give us a few days to complete them and then we’ll learn about who the wanderer is but it’ll be too late and the leviathan will be fueled and will start destroying stuff.
